Good quality wayfinding signs are essential in a hospital. It is suggested that we need four times the amount of signage in a hospital environment compared to general areas thanks to heightened anxiety of the visit. It is also known that many thousands of pounds worth of clinicians’ time are spent directing lost visitors. Our sign techniques have been well researched using colour, graphics where possible and clear lettering to guide a person throughout their visit.
